Biased Czech MPs

Whenever society tries to move rapidly forward, the opponents of progress tend to be especially loud. This fact came to light in the Czech Parliament on Thursday 29 June. After a short break, the parliamentary upper chamber was dealing with marriage equality again. However, the contradictory law bill (which wants to define marriage as an exclusive man-woman bond) was being discussed as well. Both law bills are going to be reopened: In the (repeated) first round, the former was approved by 68 votes, the latter by 86 ones.
